Georgia Redman, who recently completed an apprenticeship through Cirencester College at BBC Bristol, has won Outstanding Apprentice of the Year (16-18) at the National BTEC Awards.

Josh Riddett, 19 and Charlie Hughes, 19, both started their 12 month IT Applications Specialist Advanced apprenticeships at Derive Logic in July last year.

Jessica Masters, 19, and Charlotte Bignell, 18 started their Business Administration Apprenticeships at St. James’s Place Wealth Management last year.

Jodie Sutton, 20, has spent six months at New Brewery Arts while studying for her Business Administration course at Cirencester College.

Apprenticeship Week got off to a great start at Cirencester Sixth Form College with the Annual Apprenticeship Graduation Evening on 15 March.

It appears it is not the generation targeted by the push to apprenticeships which need to be convinced they are fast-becoming the go-to-option to unlock doors into chosen careers.

19 year old Lorri joined Dennis and Turnbull as a Marketing Apprentice in November 2014 and is now just over half way through her 2 year apprenticeship.
