Access to A Level (GCSEs) |

Access to A Level (sometimes called Level 2 or Springboard) is designed :-
- for a variety of students who have not studied for GCSE or who want to improve on their GCSE grades before moving on to other courses or on to employment,
- to ensure all students can take level 2 qualifications in IT, English, Maths and Key Skills,
- to offer students a choice of GCSE courses alongside a First Diploma. First Diplomas are designed for students who are looking for a vocational alternative to GCSEs,
- to include private study and strong academic learning support,
l as a route to higher level study or employment.
