| Cirencester College Skiing and Snow Boarding Club |
|
The Ski Club is intended to build on the college’s strong tradition in sport. What is involved? The College Ski Team. One or two training sessions at Gloucester Ski Slope are followed by entry into the British Skiing Championships each September. Qualifying at this competition can lead to further representation in Europe. The format is usually slalom and skiing only at present. Are there any costs? One of the main aims of the club is to provide good value for money skiing opportunities. Staff organising the Easter ski trip spend considerable time finding a challenging and extensive resort at a reasonable price. The Czech Ski trip remains very reasonable as we continue to benefit from a favourable exchange rate. Our club is sponsored by Westsports of Swindon . This very large store specialises in boarding and skiing equipment. Participants benefit from discounts and a very good range of product to either purchase or hire. |
