Guidance & Support for HE Students

peter_walmsley.jpgPeter Walmsley is the Guidance Tutor at Cirencester College for all adults (19 or older) irrespective of their type of study or subject.

Peter is based in the main reception area in R0.46 and can provide ongoing and impartial advice whilst  you are at college or if  you are a prospective student looking to come to Cirencester to study at HE level.

See below for contact information.

Personal Tutor role

Peter is the Personal Tutor to all HE students at Cirencester College and is perhaps the best person to approach concerning any matters other than the immediate subject/course you are studying. In these latter cases you would be best advised to speak to your teacher in the first instance.

The Personal Tutor role is still evolving however it is envisaged from 2012/13 that the Tutor will be actively involved in recruiting and interviewing students and be an integral part of the induction process when they join the College as well as being available for ad-hoc advice and guidance as explained above.

You can speak to Peter in person or on tel. 01285 640994 or by email to adult.guidance@cirencester.ac.uk
