Bill Crooks attended Cirencester College from 2013-2017 where he started as a Level 1 student. Bill then went on to complete a Level 2 IT course before progressing onto the Level 3 ICT BTEC.

After leaving College, Bill went on to study at the University of Gloucestershire and graduated this year with a high 2:1 degree in BSC Computing.

Speaking of his time at College, Bill said “Cirencester College helped me build my confidence which was pretty low when I started. My supportive teachers helped me to fully utilise my potential and taught me how to be resourceful by asking questions.”

Bill is continuing his studies at the University of Gloucestershire and is starting a Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering this year.

One of Bill’s former lecturers Simon said: “Bill has a strong interest in technology but is also able to combine this with strong interpersonal skills. He was popular student with both his class peers and teaching staff at the college. We are so proud of what Bill has achieved at University. Bill has demonstrated that with setting clear goals, self-belief and hard work it’s possible to overcome challenges and achieve your potential. We wish Bill well in his next phase of his academic journey”

Congratulations Bill on your fantastic achievement!
