The course is called Adult Nursing, which is ideal for that, but its broad focus on nursing, good practice in health care and understanding the NHS makes it useful in many other branches of health care. A major placement, where you work with patients and health professionals, is a central part of the course and we can try to tailor that to reflect your ambitions. The course is also suitable for those of you who wish to go on to University to study nursing or health at a higher level.
What is different about T-levels is the fact they have been designed and built by employers from the ground up to be a high-level technical qualification that is the equivalent of three A-levels, including all the cutting-edge real requirements for working in the modern workplace. This is THE new gold standard for vocational education. You’ll learn in a way that’s different from school where you’ll be developing team and professional skills to get you ready for employment and all the essential knowledge needed for the sector of your choice. You can choose from four pathways.

Along the way you will learn all about the land-based sector, some plant biology, design principles and how to use a wide range of tools and materials so that you are ready to move into your career. Besides the familiar high street shops, many florists specialise in wholesale, weddings, corporate events or work freelance. There are many options once you complete your T-level.

The qualification will help you gain an understanding of the management and administration sector. You will study different types of business, analyse what works and what doesn’t and understand how they innovate and respond to challenges.
As well as a robust work experience element of the course, each student will have the choice of studying one stand alone occupational specialism: Business Improvement, Team Leadership/Management, Business Support.

The course covers the skills and knowledge to work with heating, ventilation and other services in buildings. We will be particularly focussing on new green technologies. Activities could include research, and preparing the most effective and efficient heating supply for a refurbished building.
The T-Level, with it’s in-depth, up to date content and brilliant work placement scheme, can lead to a well-paid job with great prospects for progression as soon as you leave college. If you wish, the UCAS points will allow you to go on to university or pursue a degree apprenticeship.

This course takes you on a journey of discovery to help you understand how materials, environment and actual application of engineering can influence design and development of new things. You’ll learn about exciting use of skills to solve real world problems, and also about industry, career opportunities, sustainable green engineering, and the thrust of commercial applications.
You’ll study a common core set of themes that give you a fantastic head start in getting to grips with the world of engineering, then specialisms within the course including electrical, mechanical and structural elements for when you find your aspirational path. All wrapped up with a mammoth 45 days of real world industry placement.

There is a huge real-world 45-day industry placement experience built into the course, giving you a real advantage in the employment marketplace. In addition to robust core elements that give you a really good understanding of the sector, you will be able to specialise in an area such as production technologies, process design or materials use.

Do you want to work in a hospital supporting healthcare professionals? Healthcare Science includes a very wide range of jobs and roles including working in pharmacies or supporting medical teams in a variety of fields such as radiography, physiotherapy and audiology. On this pathway, you will gain a better understanding of the science sector and further your knowledge including cell cycle and cellular respiration, enzyme and protein structure, pathogens, classification of biological materials, kinetic changes and relevant analytical techniques.
What is different about these courses is the fact they have been designed and built by employers from the ground up to be a high-level technical qualification that is the equivalent of three A-levels, including all the cutting-edge real requirements for working in the modern workplace. This is THE new gold standard for vocational education. You’ll learn in a way that’s different from school where you’ll be developing team and professional skills to get you ready for employment and all the essential knowledge needed for the sector of your choice. Later in the course, you can choose to specialise in up to four pathways.
Before then we will introduce you to the opportunities and choices within the sector, including different roles, safe practices and how health systems all work together to keep people safe and healthy. Unique to the T-Level, you’ll get the chance to learn practical skills like clinical tasks or taking physiological measurements, and how these can be used to give people the quality care they deserve.

As with other T-levels, it has been designed and built by employers from the ground up to be a high-level technical qualification that is the equivalent of three Science A-levels, including all the cutting-edge real requirements for working in the modern workplace. This is THE new gold standard for vocational education. You’ll learn in a way that’s different from school where you’ll be developing team and professional skills to get you ready for employment and all the essential knowledge needed for the sector of your choice. A key part of this will be a placement, ideally in a lab so that you can learn alongside professionals and bring your knowledge and lab skills together. In College, your lab time will develop your skills in analysis, measurement and processing. In class, you will learn the biology, physics and chemistry that underpins good lab work.
