I’m a beginner who wanted to learn a few new skills in a friendly environment. Tasse is very approachable, knowledgeable and helps with a smile. She has time for everyone and has some very useful short cuts too. The room is lovely and warm. There’s a lift so there’s no need to struggle with your machine.

A few years ago I saw the Getting to know your Sewing Machine course. So I decided to give it a go. It was the best thing I ever did. I then went onto do the Intermediate Sewing courses and am now doing the Sewing Bee course. I have to say, that the courses are excellent, and great value for money. My tutor in the Sewing Bee course is brilliant. She literally is a busy bee, she makes sure that she familiarise’s herself with everyone’s projects and is on hand throughout the class to help and guide us all.

She is very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. I would recommend her class and the other beginner courses to anyone who like myself want to learn Sewing. They make it fun so you really do enjoy your lessons. And the other students all help and encourage each other too. Building and forming new friendships along the way.

The organiser of these courses is also really helpful and always does her best to find things out for you.

I don’t live locally to Cirencester College, and my own local colleges don’t offer the wide range of courses at all and working part time I have to say Cirencester College course prices are affordable.

The only thing I would really like is if some of these courses were on a Saturday that would be great. As I have to drive some distance to get there in the evenings, the journey in the winter months is not great, so some during the day on a weekend would be great.
