This course is for people that love colour and want to learn more about it and how it makes them, and others look and feel. We aim to get you to look at yourself and others in a more positive light and see how different clothing choices can impact how we look, feel and our confidence. This course is great for building confidence and understanding of oneself. It’s also ideal for anyone working in creative industries or helping others to choose colour for themselves.

Join Michelle as she talks you through how different colour choice and clothing shapes can make a huge difference to your confidence and how you feel in your self.

What topics are covered?

Colour theory, understanding cool & warm, bright & muted tones. A look at Architecture and how shape relates to style, clothing and texture.

How will I learn?

Class teaching, group work and discussion.

You will create a moodboard to learn more about yourself and your style identity

What do I need to bring?

You will be given a booklet and colour fan to support you in class, that you can then keep so you can continue to use it after the sessions are over. These will be given out in the first class.

All resources will be provided.

We will supply magazines however as these are such personal choices, we welcome you to bring some of your favourite fashion magazines with you too.

This was a two-session course but could easily have been much longer. Michelle had so much knowledge to share that I came away definitely wanting to know more. The size of our group was ideal, allowing us to understand how colour and style differs for each individual and how we can be unique while keeping an eye on trends.

This course exceeded my expectations. Michelle was well organised, approachable, enthusiastic and organised. I learnt a lot. Just the right size for a group as so much practical work. I think it would benefit from being three evenings and not the two. Definately recommend.

Michelle who ran the course was welcoming and knowledgable. The course gave some much information regarding your colours and style identity . Its and essential life tool that everyone can use. The group was lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend and if further courses are run I would be very interested.
