Lino Printed Christmas Cards
Get creative this festive season and learn the traditional art of lino printing while designing your own unique Christmas cards. This relaxed and experimental workshop is perfect for anyone who would like to try a new creative skill and make something special by hand.
During the session, you’ll be guided through the process of creating a festive design, transferring it onto lino, and safely carving your printing block using specialist lino-cutting tools. You’ll then learn how to ink and print your design onto greeting cards, experimenting with different colours and techniques to create striking results. If you’re feeling adventurous, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore layered and double-printing methods to add extra depth and detail to your work.
Mistakes are all part of the creative process, so expect a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where you can experiment, learn and enjoy making. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a collection of beautiful handmade Christmas cards ready to share with friends and family.
