Polymer Clay Button Making Workshop

Come and enjoy a relaxed, hands-on creative session where you’ll discover the joy of crafting your own beautiful polymer clay buttons. This 2-hour workshop is perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike—no experience needed, just a willingness to play and explore.

During the workshop, you’ll learn:

How to work with polymer clay, including conditioning techniques and top tips
Colour blending and marbling effects to create eye-catching patterns
Texturing and surface decoration using simple tools for unique finishes
Shaping, cutting, and refining your buttons so they’re both functional and beautiful

Once you’ve learned the basics, you’ll have plenty of time to experiment with your own designs—mixing colours, adding details, and letting your creativity lead the way.

All materials and equipment are included, so you can simply relax and enjoy the making process. By the end of the session, you’ll have your very own curated collection of handmade buttons to take home. Keep them as tiny treasures, use them to embellish your craft projects, make matching sets or gift them to someone special.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing, just yourselves. If you want to make buttons for an item of clothing or furnishing, it may be worth bringing a sample of the colour with you to match.
