The college has a team of security officers that you will see around campus: they can be recognised by their black or lime green 'uniforms'.
They are here to ensure that behaviour is kept at a high standard but they are friendly and approachable and can address any concerns you may have over behaviour in the social areas around college, the Spotlight and the Refectory, the smoking area and even the back lane.
Where can I get help with IT and all things techy?
The friendly IT support team are based in the Davis Building. If you have any issues with logins, getting on the wifi or other IT related queries then please find them on the ground floor where they will be happy to help.
What if I feel ill at college?
If you are feeling unwell at college or require first aid treatment please visit main reception where the friendly reception staff will help by finding a qualified first-aider and/or calling home.
Is there a cash machine?
There is a cash machine in the Hub area, just behind reception. You can withdraw as little as £5 which is great if you're trying to keep to a budget!
When is the college shop open?
The shop is open throughout the year from 8.30am until 4pm Monday to Friday including term time holidays.
What does the college shop sell?
The college has a shop (in the Hub) which sells stationary and course booklets among a host of other very useful items from safety pins to birthday cards. It is open daily during term time.
There is also a 'sweet shop' called Caddie's which sells lots of lovely things and can be found in the C block near the entrance to the STEM building
What methods of payment does the shop / refectory / spotlight accept?
You can make payment by cash or card (PIN or contactless) or with your student ID card with funds uploaded through Wisepay.
For larger shop purchases you can pay by cheque as well.
