What will I study?

You’ll study in four main areas. The first is common to all our digital T levels and particularly examines new trends in the digital world and its impact on society. You’ll explore elements of all three pathways and focus on themes such as network security and analysis of data.

The second will give you a comprehensive introduction to programming. The third element will focus on types of network, hardware trouble shooting, security and exploring different operating systems.

The fourth element is a great opportunity to experience real world through work placements in a professional setting. You’ll work with employers to help develop your understanding of the sector and the jobs available within it. The substantial placement allows you to immerse yourself in the professional world and see your classroom work in practice, and also gives you the experience to bring back to college to help your deeper understanding. We’ll prepare you for work, but you’ll also reflect on your experience so you really develop.
