This course uses a combination of practical and classroom activites to develop your skills to give you the opportunity to take your first steps towards a career in the countryside, wildlife and conservation industry.
You can continue to study your Maths and English GCSEs alongside this course at Cirencester College.
The new course specification allows students to develop a range of vocational skills within the industry including survey, practical and machinery used in the conservation sector. The students work both on and offsite and we organise projects together with Countryside organisations based in the local area. If you like the outdoors and want to learn more about wildlife and the rural landscape this course is for you.

· NVQ level 1 or First Diploma

· Home or Steiner educated
Yes, a fair proportion of you time will be spent outdoors in practical activity.
You will need to make sure you have adequate clothing for all weather conditions.
