We all know that exercise plays an important role in your health, fitness and well-being but did you know that sport and fitness can build your confidence and help with your attention levels?  It can also help to reduce the risk of developing diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, strokes and lower cholestrerol levels.

In 2015, thanks to Sport England initiative Cirencester Sixth Form College was able to employ a Health & Fitness Development Officer, who has been working with the College to encourage more students in the College community to get active.

So if you would like to play sport for fun or you are interested in your own health, fitness and wellbeing then there are plenty of opportunities open to you.

In 2016, students have been involved in a range of activities, inlcuding:

Box Fit

Cricket Nets

Yoga

Cirencester Sixth Form College is keen to engage ALL students in some form of physical acitivity on a regular basis, if you have any ideas of your own our Health & Fitness Development Officer will be keen to hear from you.
