If English is not your first language you can improve your English language skills with an ESOL course.

Our ESOL programmes are offered to students whose first language is not English and who are living in the UK on a permanent basis.

Improve your reading, writing and speaking and listening skills. This course will help you to develop your understanding of the English language and make it easier to manage everyday situations.

You will need to see our Student Journey Team to establish whether you need to pay fees.

You should bring with you any of the following: a) Evidence of receipt of benefits (where applicable) e.g. JSA, ESA (Employment Support Allowance within work related activity group) b) E.U. Workers’ State Registration. c) Evidence of residency status e.g. passport, E.U. ID card, ILR, ELR, ELC, Humanitarian Protection, marriage or working Visa, IND or Arc Card from Home Office. If it is possible to do an ESOL class you will be invited for an assessment so that we can offer you the right level.
