Cabin Crew Introduction Level 2 Certificate
This is a Level 2 course available to all students if it fits to your timetable. It is designed for those who would like to work as cabin crew, including the duties carried out by cabin crew. It will provide you with the knowledge you need to carry out the role.
What will I study in Cabin Crew Introduction Level 2 Certificate?
There are six units that need to be completed:
Unit 1 Working as cabin crew
Unit 2. Airline health and safety
Unit 3. Aircraft emergency situations
Unit 4. Dealing with passengers on board an aircraft
Unit 5. Cabin service - selling techniques
Unit 6. Making passengers announcements on board an aircraft
Entry Requirements
A minimum of five GCSEs at Grade 4, including three from the core subjects. This is a Level 2 course which can be taken alongside any Level 3 course.
How will I learn?
There will be many opportunities to demonstrate skills required and you will need to attend an assessment day provided by an external provider.
A portfolio of evidence will be produced as well as discussion, role plays, worksheets
How will I be assessed?
Assessment day for practical activities. Course work
Any trips?
There will be an external assessment day which could include an overnight stay.
Are there any costs involved?
External assessment day approximately £80
White shirt, dark trousers or skirt, scarf or tie
FAQs
Is this a full time course?
No. It is an additional course for level 3 students wishing to experience the role of cabin crew
Are there any exams?
No. The course is assessed by practical demonstrations and portfolio of evidence.
Do I have to wear a uniform?
Yes. For all practical assessment you will be expected to wear white shirt dark trousers or skirt with a tie of scarf.
