This course is perfect to help you discover what it takes to fulfil the role of a Resort Representative. You will learn about the different types of resort representatives, what the roles involve, and where you can work. This is a short course ideal to study alongside Level 3 Travel and Tourism or any other Level 3 subject. Previous students have been successful in applying for roles as resort representatives and worked in a number of destinations throughout Europe. This underlines how this qualification meets the needs of the organisations in the industry for well-trained staff.
What will I study in Resort Representative Level 2 Award?
You will study five units:
Unit 1 - Investigate employment opportunities for resort representatives
Unit 2 - Understand the role of a representative in a resort
Unit 3 - Prepare for the start of the holiday season
Unit 4 - Manage airport and transport duties
Unit 5 - Investigate the role of the children's representative in a holiday resort
Entry Requirements
This Level 2 award is studied alongside Level 3 courses. Entry requirements are at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including 3 from the core subjects.
How will I learn?
You will learn through lecture delivered lessons, including the use of videos, roleplays, group work, discussion and the completion of a portfolio. Where possible guest speakers will be invited to enhance the learning experience.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment for this course is entirely coursework based, which can be roleplays, group discussions, practical activities, presentations and written tasks.
