AAT Lecturer Sessional

Salary: £24,679 – £41, 612

Hourly: £12.83 – 21.63 plus holiday and prep uplift

(Starting salary dependent upon qualifications and experience)

Contract: Fixed Term from 5th January 2023 to 11th August 2023, 7.5 hours per week

Required: 5th January 2023


We are seeking an adaptable and creative individual to join our ambitious Faculty of Business and Land and contribute to curriculum initiatives. Teaching will be across our adult AAT provision which includes Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4. Primary teaching for this post will be L3 AAT which runs 1 day a week x 7 hours. The department of Business and Education is committed to encouraging students to reach their full potential and candidates will ideally have industry experience and some teaching experience. Candidates will be committed to the Cirencester College mission and vision and be able to demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines in a demanding environment.

Candidates should have a commitment to post compulsory education at FE and be motivated to achieve high standards in teaching and learning.  The ability to work well within a team and to adapt to curriculum demands is essential. Ideally candidates should possess a good honours degree and a teaching qualification. The College is supportive of new entrants into the teaching profession and we are therefore willing to consider applications from graduates who are willing to undertake a supported teaching qualification as part of their professional development.
