Required from: 1st September 2022

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Salary range: £25,886 to £41,612 (Responsibility Allowance C, £1,500)

(Starting salary dependent upon qualifications and experience)

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding Animal Management, and other subject related, qualifications?

Not only can we offer the chance to teach successful and ambitious students, but we can do so in the beautiful Cotswold setting of Cirencester. The department itself is a vibrant, supportive and forward-thinking team; the teaching staff work together closely and have a genuine passion for the subjects. We are seeking an adaptable and creative individual to lead our high achieving team and contribute to curriculum initiatives including the new T Level qualifications. Candidates should also expect to act as a personal tutor.

This exciting role will not only be at the fore-front of developing the department, but introducing the new T-Level qualifications in 2023. Your teaching timetable will involve teaching across a variety of subject areas in the land-based team, depending on your subject specialism, at Level 2 and Level 3. The successful candidate may also be given the opportunity to lead our team in land-based studies to develop the department and increase student numbers.

Candidates should have a commitment to further education and be motivated to achieve high standards in teaching and learning. The ability to work well within teams and to adapt to curriculum demands is essential. Ideally candidates should possess a good honours degree and a teaching qualification. The College is very supportive of new entrants into the teaching profession and we are therefore willing to consider applications from graduates who are willing to undertake a supported PGDE as part of their professional development.
