Lecturer in Digital T Levels

Salary: £30,800 – £45,267 per annum

(Salary dependent on qualifications and experience)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a modern, forward thinking, professional from the Engineering sector to join our thriving College and be at the forefront of the new T Level qualifications.  The College is continuing to implement new T level qualifications as they become available, and this is an unique opportunity for the right candidate to work with us in developing our curriculum.  We also offer a Level 2 foundation course for students progressing onto T Levels.

We are looking for a lecturer to join the STEM faculty to join our growing team of Digital lecturers.  The T Levels are very broad and we would encourage applicants who have experience in any of the following areas:

•             Networking and server management

•             Experience of Microsoft active directory

•             PC repair diagnostic

•             Copper and fibre optic cabling installation, testing and tools

•             Network principles and architecture

•             Cyber security principles and standards

•             Industry experience within the IT support sector would be useful

The ability to code would also be helpful, but not required.

This post would be suitable for an experienced teacher, or someone looking to move into a career in teaching from prior work in the IT support industry. 

The successful applicant will have an opportunity to develop their passion for education within a supportive and quickly developing area, playing a pivotal role in the continued development and delivery of the innovative T Levels.

The post holder will be expected to:

•             Teach to a high standard, and develop the relevant skills to teach truly outstanding provision

•             Work with the STEM Faculty and with enrichment staff to create provision that excites and stimulates demand

Candidates should have a commitment to providing high quality learning to enable all learners to achieve their full potential.  The ability to truly work as a team player is also essential.  The post-holder will be expected to demonstrate outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills
