At Cirencester College, you would have the opportunity of supporting staff and students within the labs as a science technician. You would work closely with the biology and chemistry staff teams and other technicians to help plan and organise the delivery of lab-based activities.
You will be mainly supporting the biology and chemistry students, assisting the lecturer to deliver activities within the laboratory. You may help guide students during activities to help improve their practical skills and knowledge.
You would be surrounded by a committed and supportive team who will readily share resources and best practices, and offer support whenever required. Within this environment we would help you further develop as a practitioner.

- Have an outstanding awareness of health and safety and risk assessment
- Be willing to guide individual students/small groups during lab-based activities
