Weekend Animal Technician
Required: As soon as possible
Contract type: Permanent, Part-time
Salary: £23,753 pro rata
This is a part time post providing the technical care of our animal collection. The post will provide support of duties to our growing animal species alongside our full-time staff.
The role includes:
- Care of our animal collection, including maintenance of the enclosures
- Maintenance of relevant records
- Administering medication to the animal collection, if and where necessary.
Our Animal Species includes:
- Invertebrates
- Mammals including Genets, rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents
- Reptiles including lizards, snakes, turtles
We are looking for a candidate with real enthusiasm, interest and wide experience in the animal sector, who is confident and capable to care for our animals to the highest standards.
