What is Adult Education

Adult education is for people over the age of 19 years and covers a wide range of courses. It includes academic, professional and technical courses for those who would like to develop their skills and qualifications to improve their employment prospects or change careers. It also provides courses for those who want to develop a hobby or just learn something new to keep their mind healthy. For those who are 19 it may also mean accessing the range of Level 3 courses we provide for our 16-18 students.

Cirencester College has around 300 adult learners studying funded programmes such as English, Maths and ESOL and another 600+ doing leisure courses for their interest and wellbeing.
