Recently students on the Digital T-level courses at Cirencester College were visited by Matthew Blackwell, who is the Chief Operating Officer at UK database analytics company Cascade 3D.
Matthew talked to the students about how the software and coding programmes they’re currently using in class are used at Cascade 3D, and gave them an insight into the wide range of careers in coding and IT support.
The students were also given valuable advice on employability skills and interview techniques.
Year one Digital Production, Design and Development student Alfred said “The talk was really insightful about working in Digital and understanding how communication is key. It was particularly interesting to hear how Amazon Web Services is used within the industry”
