Creative Connections

This course has been created for those who suffer from invisible illnesses in Tetbury and Cirencester.

Classes provide participants the opportunity to try different creative activities weekly. Throughout the duration of the course participants will gain an understanding of how crafting can benefit their well-being.

Additionally courses also provide the opportunity to meet with friends, make new ones, gain new skills and increase confidence.

This is a funded course, so free for participants that

  • Have lived in the UK or EU for at least the past 3 years
  • Are not currently in work and/or on benefits
  • Are aged 19 and over
  • And have not accessed this course previously
  • Participants will be required to stipulate invisible illness within notes section when registering.

What topics are covered?

This course will provide participants the opportunity to learn a different crafting activity each week.

Activities are likely to include the following:

  • Watercolour
  • Weaving
  • Mandala
  • Mosaics
  • And more …..

How will I learn?

Activities will be led by experienced tutors who will provide tuition on how to conduct activities, participants will then attempt the craft for themselves.

This is a hands on practical course.

What do I need to bring?

All resources will be provided, and you get to keep the work which you have produced.

Due to the nature of some activities there is potential that participants could get dirty, participants are advised to wear clothes which they don’t mind getting messy.
