Keep Active Over 60’s

This 4 session course is aimed towards increasing participants physical and mental wellbeing through engaging them in a variety of low impact/intensity based activities.

It is ideal for those wishing to conduct more physical activity but have been  unsure how to start.

The course will be facilitated on alternate weeks by qualified exercise instructor Denise Nethercott and members of Forest Green FC Community Sports Trust.

Each participant who signs up will receive a free ticket to an upcoming Forest Green Rovers FC home fixture.

This is a free course, so free to participants that:

  • Are 60 or over
  • Have  lived in the UK/EU for at least 3 years.

What topics are covered?

The course will incorporate a session of Tai Chi, Chair based exercises and low impact indoor sports based activities such as indoor boules.

How will I learn?

This will be a practical instructor led course, with participants taking part in the varied activities.

What do I need to bring?

Participants are required to wear clothing suitable for physical activity, it would also be advisable to bring a drink.
