Festive Sip & Sew: Design Your Own Tote Bag
Get creative this festive season in our relaxed and enjoyable Festive Sip & Sew workshop. Whether you’re completely new to sewing or simply looking for a fun festive crafting experience, this session offers the perfect opportunity to unwind, learn new skills and make something special.
You’ll design and create your own personalised tote bag using a selection of festive fabrics, colours and decorative materials. With step-by-step guidance from your tutor, you’ll learn a variety of sewing and textile techniques, including hand embroidery stitches and appliqué methods, to make your design truly unique.
All materials are provided, and there is plenty of support throughout the session, making it suitable for beginners and more experienced crafters alike. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming and creative, offering a chance to slow down, enjoy some festive fun and connect with others while making a beautiful handmade item you’ll be proud to take home.

Hello, I’m Abi – a local Textile Designer and Art/Textiles teacher by day who loves bringing creativity to life through print, colour, and texture. I spend my days helping students to design, experiment, and share what I’ve learned with my background in Print. I specialise in painting florals/landscapes and turning them into prints to brighten homes!
Through my workshops and classes, there’s a welcoming space where you can slow down, connect, and enjoy the process of making something by hand. I’m passionate about helping others find joy and confidence in their creative journey.
