Join experienced Mosaic tutor and artist, Sadie Rowlands, to design and make your own mosaic piece.
You will start with an introduction to mosaics and full instructions on materials and how to cut and shape the tile will follow, with help on how to develop your own creative project.
Once you’ve learnt this skill there will be no stopping you. The resources are easy to source so there is no limit to what you can make.
Join a friendly likeminded group of creatives as you learn and play with this technique. No previous experience is needed and the workshop is suitable for all levels. Materials are included, you just need to bring an old apron or overall.
We have a number of different Mosaics course running throughout the year
Mosaic – Rainbow, Heart, & Square Coasters
These gorgeous tiles are perfect for hanging on the wall or using as a table mats or coasters. Chose from a Rainbow, Heart or Square shaped backboard and cut and shape the colourful tiles to mosaic them into the shape.
Mosaic – Birds, Bees and Butterflies
These beautiful shapes are perfect for hanging on the wall. Chose from a Bird, a Bee or a Butterfly shaped backboard and cut and shape the colourful china tiles to mosaic them into the shape.
Mosaic – Mirrors
Mosaic yourself a new mirror. Mosaic around a mirror middle to create your own unique wall hanging mirror.
Mosaic – Letters
With a letter shaped backboard to start. Mosaic yourself or a loved one a unique initial ornament.
Please note due to the time it takes to prep the letters, booking for this course will close 10 days before the course start date. When booking please let us know in the notes section which letter of the alphabet you would like for the class ( if you don’t let us know we will use the booking persons first letter of their first name ) .
