Recycled Flower Press and Dried Pressed Flower Crafts

A relaxed and mindful workshop exploring recycled flower press making and creative dried flower crafts inspired by nature.

Slow down and reconnect with nature in this relaxed and creative 2-hour workshop exploring recycled flower presses and dried pressed flower crafts. Learners will create their own simple flower press using recycled materials before experimenting with a variety of pressed flower craft techniques to create delicate botanical artwork and keepsakes.

Throughout the session, participants will explore composition, layering and decorative techniques using dried flowers and foliage, with the opportunity to create items such as bookmarks and mini decorative pieces. The workshop encourages mindful creativity, seasonal inspiration and an appreciation for the beauty of natural materials.

The atmosphere is calm, welcoming and gently mindful, focused on enjoying the process and slowing down creatively. No previous experience is needed, and all materials are provided.

About Your Tutor

Katherine Lewis is a Gloucestershire-based artist and workshop facilitator who has been delivering creative workshops for over five years through her business, Moon and Made. She also co-runs Oriri Retreats, offering creative mindfulness retreats focused on wellbeing, creativity and connection. Katherine’s workshops are relaxed, welcoming and designed to build confidence through mindful creativity and self-expression. She is also an author and illustrator inspired by storytelling, collage, texture and the natural world.
