This course explores the use of creative crafts as a tool for enhancing personal wellbeing and relaxation. Participants will learn how engaging in craft can support mindfulness, reduce stress, and build confidence. By the end of the course, learners will have developed new crafting skills and created unique handmade items and had the opportunity to build on social connections. The first set of sessions has a focus on Christmas crafts.
This course is part of our tailored learning offering and fully funded to those who meet the below criteria:
- Aged over 19 from 31/08/25
- Are unemployed and currently in receipt of Universal Credit or other state benefit and the take home pay (disregarding UC payments and other state benefits) is less than £952 per month (sole adult in claim benefit) or £1534 per month (joint benefit claim with partner)
- Employed and earn under £25,750
