Wild & Dried Floral Creations

This 6 week course provides participants the opportunity to identify and utilise materials from nature and gardens to make different dried and wild floral creations and pieces of art. Additionally participants will learn how working with plants and nature can have a positive impact on wellbeing.

The course is being run by experienced florist Emma Phillips.

In order to be eligible for a FREE place on this course:

  • You need to be aged 19 or over
  • Unemployed and claiming benefits / or earning less than £20,319
  • Have a social or emotional difficulty, or challenges with mental health or emotional wellbeing.
  • Lived in the UK/EU for at least the past 3 years

What topics are covered?

This course will provide participants the opportunity to learn how to make different floral creations and art pieces.

These are likely to include the following:

  • An everlasting wreath
  • A free standing art piece called a meadow bar.
  • A flower bowl arrangement
  • A piece of wall art.

  • Demonstration
  • Practical Participation
  • Question and answer
  • And ongoing support & direction.

What do I need to bring?

Hand held secateurs would be useful if you possess a pair but not compulsory.

A bag to take items home in.
