Spent a lovely couple of hours playing with watercolours and enjoying the company of others painting poppies. There was a good mix of previous experience in the group, from beginners to those who had done some painting previously. I think everyone learnt something new and everyone seemed pleased and proud of what they produced. As a beginner, the instructions were clear, with constructive suggestions to try different things. Definitely recommended!

Really enjoyed this course. We painted flamingos and had clear instructions. Karen was very helpful and encouraging, especially as I had no previous experience.

2 hours sped by and even though I can’t draw and haven’t painted for 50 years, I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent. The tutor has such a relaxing teaching style that put me at ease at the outset.

What a lovely evening I spent discovering the beauty of painting with watercolours! Our tutor, Karen was excellent. She successfully guided the group through a handful of techniques that got us producing a unique piece of art to take home. Admittedly, there is lots more practice needed and lots more to learn but the class was an excellent introduction and I feel ready to try some painting on my own.
