Well done to T-level Media: Broadcast and Production students Evie and Robert, who have been offered their own show on Cirencester Hospital Radio.
Evie and Robert have been volunteering at the community hospital radio station for the past 8 months as part of their T-level industry placement. Every T-level course includes a placement of at least 315 hours, and this experience has allowed Evie and Robert to put classroom theory into practice and get a flavour of working in their chosen sector.
Cirencester Hospital Radio has been running for almost 50 years, and broadcasts up to 100 patients 24 hours a day. Robert and Evie have been thoroughly enjoying the creative freedom they have been given.
Robert said, “We have a show which is all about patients’ requests, so it gives us a chance to make sure our shows are linked to what they want- it’s sort of a collaboration.”
