Beanology is a practical, psychology‑informed course designed to help you rebuild belief in yourself, understand your responses to pressure, and move forward with renewed courage. Whether you’re re‑entering the workplace, navigating a career change, or simply wanting to feel more grounded and capable, this programme offers real‑world tools you can apply immediately.

Across six weeks, you’ll explore The 6 Ps—a simple yet powerful framework for emotional resilience and everyday confidence.

Pause

Discover what happens in your body and brain during stress. Learn grounding techniques, the “window of tolerance,” and how to steady yourself so you can think clearly under pressure.

Prioritise

Practical strategies for managing time, energy and overwhelm. This session focuses on balancing responsibilities, staying organised, and learning to prioritise yourself as well as your to‑dos.

Perspective

Explore how to reframe challenges, regulate emotions, and rebuild confidence. Learn psychological tools for bouncing back from setbacks and stepping into new situations with more self‑trust.

People

Understand communication styles, boundaries, and relationship dynamics. Build skills to navigate tricky interactions with more ease, clarity, and confidence.

Praise

Shift negative self‑talk, strengthen self-belief and learn how to recognise your own progress. This week focuses on becoming a better friend to yourself and celebrating real capability.

Practice

Confidence isn’t instant — it grows through consistent, compassionate action. This final session focuses on building sustainable habits, managing change, and stepping forward into new beginnings.

Putting Your Confidence Into Practice

In our final week, we’ll bring everything together with a focused mini‑employability session. Using your newly strengthened confidence and clarity, you’ll have the chance to refresh and upgrade your CV, explore your key strengths, and take part in supportive mock interviews. This practical session is designed to help you step forward into the workplace feeling prepared, capable and ready for your next opportunity.

This course is free if:

You are aged 19 or over. And are Unemployed and claiming benefits / or earning less than £25,750.

We take a £10 deposit for this course
