    Ways to get involved:

There are lots of ways in which you can inspire and work with our students:

    • Hosting a T-level Industry Placement – give a student an opportunity to shine in your business by giving them meaningful work experience to embed their studies.  Over 2 years, they need to be with you for a minimum of 45 days. Many employers use this as an opportunity to pipeline future apprentices, which reduces recruitment costs, adds value and tangible project work to your business.
    • Joining our Employer Boards – for all our T-levels we run Employer Advisory Boards to help us design and develop the curriculum delivery to reflect each industry as best we can.  Our Employer Boards meet for three ‘virtual’ meetings a year and help us to develop our curriculum.
    • Offering other work experience opportunities
    • Employer Talks – can bring a career journey to life, with a real-life career presentation about you, your journey and your business.
    • Work Taster Activities – enable students the chance to gain hands-on experience in your business – you may find a superstar.
    • Mock Interviews – really adds value to our students for all potential career pathways.
    • Visits to Your Business – seeing what happens day to day can make a real difference to a student’s perception of roles and responsibilities.
    • Event Sponsorship – by showing your support, might encourage young people to want to work for you and help your business succession planning and future-proofing.
    • Equipment Donation/Sponsorship – builds your local reputation for investing in young people and with various businesses too.
    • Supporting Curriculum Activities – help us to support young talent staying local to study and work after completion..
