On Tuesday 23rd June, Cirencester College held their annual awards ceremony. Approximately 30 students and local employers received awards to recognise personal outstanding achievement and contribution to the College.
The ceremony, held in the Sundial Theatre, was attended by over 100 guests, including staff, students, governors, sponsors and family and friends.
Matt Couzens, Vice Principal Curriculum and Quality, welcomed guests and congratulated the winners on their successes, before introducing Fiona Galbraith, Chair of the Corporation.
Fiona delivered a poignant speech in which she emphasised how proud each winner should be of their achievement and attributed their success to the hard work and dedication they demonstrate at college. Fiona also took a moment to thank those who have supported the winners during their studies.
Talented Year 2 students Yasmin and Ellie accompanied the ceremony with performances of Landslide by Fleetwood Mac and Scott Street by Phoebe Bridges.
