Cirencester College students from Stroud have a lot to celebrate today after receiving A-level, T-level and Vocational results, with outstanding grades across the board.
So far, over 80% of students have secured places at their first- choice university.
Congratulations to the 5 students who gained places at veterinary and medical schools across the country, and the 3 students who secured places at Oxford or Cambridge.
Congratulations to Ash, formerly of Stroud High School, who achieved A*A*A*, and is headed to the University of Oxford to study History. Ash said “I’m very happy with my results! I’m grateful for all the support I’ve received from my friends, family, and teachers.”
Another top achiever was Alex, formerly of Maidenhill School, who achieved AAB in his A-levels, and will be going on to university to study Biomedicine.
Isodora, also formerly of Stroud High School, achieved A*AA, and will be studying Film and TV Practice at London South Bank University.
It is another successful year for T-level results, with the fifth cohort receiving results today. Cirencester College was one of the first institutions to pioneer T-level qualifications and today celebrates over 40 students achieving top grades.
Taya, formerly of Archway School, achieved the top grade of a distinction in T-level Health, and is headed to the University of Chester to study Criminology and Counselling Skills.
Faith, formerly of Rednock School, is celebrating a distinction in T-level Education and Early Years, and is set to start an exciting new chapter at the University of Worcester studying Primary Education. Faith said “I’m over the moon! I can’t believe I got the grade I got!”
Cirencester College Principal, Matt Reynolds, said ‘Yet again we’ve had an outstanding set of results this year. Our young people have performed exceptionally well and I feel so proud of them.’
‘I wish them all luck with their ventures on from here, they have brilliant futures, and I’d also like to thank my staff who have done such a wonderful job of teaching and supporting, and also all the great parents and guardians who have joined us as a team to help these young people be amazing.
