Cirencester College students from Gloucestershire have a lot to celebrate today after receiving A-level, T-level and Vocational results, with outstanding grades across the board.
So far, over 80% of students have secured places at their first- choice university.
Congratulations to the 5 students who gained places at veterinary and medical schools across the country, and the 3 students who secured places at Oxford or Cambridge.
Among the many success stories is Olivia, formerly of Cirencester Kingshill School, who achieved a Distinction, Distinction, Merit in Performing Arts. Olivia will be going on to drama school to study musical theatre after taking a gap year.
Annabel, formerly of Balcarras Academy, has secured a place at the University of Bristol to study Biochemistry after achieving A*A*A in her A-levels.
Another very happy student was Eleanor, formerly of Denmark Road High School, who achieved A*AAA. Eleanor is taking a gap year before going to the University of Sheffield to study Computer Science. Eleanor said, “Definitely not what I was expecting, I am so proud and happy that the last two years paid off!”.
It is another successful year for T-level results, with the fifth cohort receiving results today. Cirencester College was one of the first institutions to pioneer T-level qualifications and today celebrates over 40 students achieving top grades.
Kit, formerly of Ribston Hall High School, was among the first ever cohort of T-level Media: Broadcast and Production students at Cirencester College, and today celebrates achieving a distinction. Kit is set to start an exciting new chapter at Ravensbourne University to study Digital Film Production.
Belle, formerly of Bournside School, is going on to study at Norland University after achieving a distinction in T-level Education and Early Years.
Cirencester College Principal, Matt Reynolds, said ‘Yet again we’ve had an outstanding set of results this year. Our young people have performed exceptionally well, and I feel so proud of them.’
