To mark the successful launch of T-levels as gold standard qualifications, Vice Principal of Cirencester College, Matt Reynolds attended a landmark event at the House of Lords alongside other pioneering wave one providers and parliamentarians including Lord Sainsbury and Baroness Barran MBE.

At the event the College was congratulated along with other wave one providers for being pioneers in developing the new qualifications.

“I want to thank them for their hard work and for delivering the skills employers want.” said Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Education, Baroness Barran MBE, “T-levels provide rigorous qualifications with industry placements, and we have seen a huge increase in the number of providers delivering these incredible courses.”

Vice Principal, Matt Reynolds welcomed the recognition for the staff at the College; “T-level development and roll out has been a huge body of work; all aimed at creating the best possible experience for the learners.

As a College we’ve been proud to be right at the sharp end of making it happen, and indeed also of using our experience to help support new centres in their development too. Our staff are some of the most experienced T-level teachers in the country right now and I’m so proud of what they have achieved.”

Cirencester College offers T-levels in Accounting, Art, Agriculture, Business, Digital, Childcare, Construction, Engineering, Finance, Health, Law, and Media. Visit our website to find out more.
