Recently, 47 Cirencester College A-Level Geography students took their first trip this year to the University of Gloucestershire.

Last week six A-level Geology students took part in the UK finals of the Geological Society Geology Competition and were rewarded with second place, the highest ranking yet for Cirencester College.

Recently, Cirencester College A-Level Geology students Maddison Pike, Murry Prowse, Emma Hume, Flo Ilsley, Grace Wiggall and Emma Baldwin competed in this year’s National Geology Competition.

A group of Cirencester College A-Level Geography students who study the Human Geography pathway have been working with Feria Urbanism to develop ideas to feed into their neighbourhood plan with Cirencester Town Council.

The A-level students visited the Sociology department where they were given a flavour of how the sociological themes they are currently studying in class, are studied at degree level.
